Dorrigo Support Centre

This centre is located in Hickory House at 50 Hickory Street Dorrigo and is funded by the Commonwealth Government to provide services generally to seniors over 65 years of age and frail aged people and their carers. It aims to help people to remain living in their own home and living a lifestyle of their choice.

The Centre offers social support and friendship, centre based activities (usually at Hickory House) such as

  • bingo
  • lunches
  • darts and other games
  • knit and natter
  • regular bus trips and short overnight stays
  • an annual seniors supported holiday
  • information and referral
  • advocacy
  • respite
  • volunteers and support for carers.

9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday
