Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular as they have zero tailpipe emissions, help to reduce local air and noise pollution, can be powered on 100% renewable energy and are cheaper to run than internal combustion engine vehicles.

If you live in an area where active and public transport is difficult, consider making the switch to an electric vehicle next time your car is due for an upgrade. There are three public electric vehicle charging stations in the Shire:

  • Coronation Park in Dorrigo
  • William St in Bellingen, and
  • Morgo St in Urunga.
