Bellingen Shire Council is hosting 3 Roundtable discussions to help formulate ideas for Bellingen Shire’s $1 Million Flood Recovery Funding provided by NSW government.

Bellingen: May 2nd, 5:30 - 7:30 PM - EOI Closed
Dorrigo: May 3rd, 5:30 - 7:30 PM - EOI Closed
Urunga: May 10th, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
This is one part of a consultation process with community to share information about how people and businesses were impacted, as well as gather ideas.
We are seeking participation from community members and business owners who were impacted by the recent flood/weather event. We are hoping to see a diverse group represented from across the Bellingen Shire. SPACES ARE LIMITED which is why we have an Expression of Interest process.
The Roundtable will include:
• Information on the current flood recovery assistance available
• Results from your community on the Flood Impact Survey
• Sharing stories of our experience.
• Brainstorming options for the program of works drawing on what we’ve heard from each other.
How to register:
Step 1:
Complete you Expression of Interest on the below form, including information to help us understand who you are and how you were impacted by the recent weather event.
Step 2:
You will be contacted by Bellingen Shire Council’s Resilience Team and notified of your attendance. If there are no spaces left, you will be provided alternative avenues to provide your ideas and kept on a list to provide feedback in future (if you wish)
Step 3:
You will be sent confirmation of your attendance and event information.
