Bellingen Shire Council commissioned CATALYSE to conduct the independent MARKYT Community Scorecard in July 2024.
The Community Scorecard gathers comprehensive community feedback on local issues, facilities and services to help determine how the organisation is faring and where it can improve.
Results from the Scorecard will be compared with those of other local governments and will be used to track the Shire’s performances moving forward.
Community Scorecard 2024
The Community Scorecard was completed by residents in July 2024. We heard views and opinions from more than 1,600 community members.
These results will be used to help review the Bellingen Shire Community Vision 2035, ensuring that the document is still reflective of our community’s priorities and aspirations.
FUTYR Workshops
Following on from the Community Scorecard process earlier in the year, FUTYR community workshops are an opportunity for residents to help Council prepare its Plan for the Future.
This includes understanding community aspirations and priorities, and what actions Council can take to meet local needs.
The purpose of the workshops are to:
- Provide an overview of findings from the 2024 MARKYT® Community Scorecard
- Review community suggestions and help to prioritise proposed actions to address local needs.
There are three workshops to choose from:
