Project Scope

Bellingen Shire Council is the asset owner of the Museum at 31 Hyde Street in Bellingen. The roof has reached its end of life and water penetrating the structure is causing damage in several locations. 

Council is currently investigating the insufficient solar system.

Mould due to the high humidity in summer and the cold temperature during winter justify the installation of an air conditioning system. The project sees the installation of 2 ceiling mounted indoor units in the main Display Area and a wall mounted split indoor unit in the smaller Display Area and the Storeroom. 

Community Impacts

The primary impact will be the closure of the Museum to the public during the construction works.
