Our Mayor and Councillors
As a local government organisation, Bellingen Shire Council is charged with the responsibility for the delivery of a diverse range of services each day.
The elected Council comprises 7 councillors who represent the entire Local Government Area. The Mayor is elected by popular vote once every four years and the Deputy Mayor is nominated and elected by fellow Councillors.
