Bellingen Shire Council - Changes To Operating Hours Over Christmas

Bellingen Shire Council will continue to provide services for our community over the Christmas period with some changes to operating hours of our facilities. Please note the following changes.
Council Administration Centre:
Is closed from 4.30pm on the Friday 22 December 2023 and Reopens at 8.30am Tuesday 2 January 2024 (cashier closes 4.00pm).
Bellingen Chambers' duty planner will recommence on the 9th of January from 8:30 am to 3 pm
Dorrigo Library duty planner will recommence on the 11th of January from 2 pm to 4 pm
Shire Libraries:
Close: 12:00pm Saturday 23 December 2023 and general library services will then close for the Christmas period reopening 10:00am Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Kerbside collection services:
will operate as normal
Raleigh, Bellingen & Dorrigo Waste Management Centres:
The Waste Management Centres will be open usual trading hours and closed on the following days:
- Monday 25 December 2023
- Tuesday 26 December 2023
- Wednesday 27 December 2023
- Bellingen Waste Centre ONLY- Thursday 28 December 2023.
- Sunday 1 January 2024
- Monday 2 January 2024
The Bowerhouse Shop: will be closed from Monday 25 December until Thursday 4 January 2024, reopening on Friday Thursday 5 January 2024.

Dorrigo Support Centre:
Close: 4.00pm Thursday 21 December 2023 - Reopen: 8.30am Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Bellingen Swim Centre:
The Bellingen pool will be temporarily closed from 18 to 24 December 2023 to accommodate necessary unplanned maintenance works. Reopening on Tuesday 26 December 2023.
The pool will be open on Monday 1 January 2024 10am – 4pm

Dorrigo Swim Centre:
Normal opening hours with the following exceptions
