The Bellingen Youth Hub is poised for a promising fresh management structure to ensure that the Youth Hub continues to deliver vital services to our young community members and the broader public.  Following a decision made during the August Ordinary Meeting, Council will transition the operational management to the Neighbourhood Centres of Bellingen Shire (NCOBS).

As part of the Council's commitment to discuss the proposed management transition, we cordially invite youth, their families, and interested members of the community to join us at the Bellingen Youth Hub on Wednesday 20 September, from 4:00pm-5:30pm.  This information session aims to provide insight into the plan and address any questions or concerns from our valued community members.

Roger Horton, Manager of the Neighbourhood Centres of Bellingen Shire NCOBS, alongside Council Staff representatives, will provide information on the transition of management that ensures uninterrupted services at the Youth Hub,  and answer any questions from the community.

As part of this ongoing service model, Council has entered into a contractual agreement with the Neighbourhood Centres of Bellingen Shire, entrusting them with the management of the Youth Hub Facility and the continuous provision of youth-related activities, services, and programs currently funded by the Council.  Under the proposed arrangement, the Bello Youth Hub committee members have been asked to continue their involvement as a sub-committee of the NCOBS.

The upcoming information session is an opportunity for our youth and their families to learn more about this exciting transition, ask questions, and engage with the future direction of the Bellingen Youth Hub.

We look forward to your participation and involvement in shaping a bright future for our community.
