Introducing the Online Planning Portal

Submitting a Development Application for a new build or renovation in our Shire? Now you can submit your application online – anywhere, anytime via the new NSW Planning Portal.

There are some simple steps you will need to take prior to submitting your Development Application online, including registering for a Planning Portal account if you don’t already have one, by going to Register for a Planning Portal account guide  and following the instructions.

You’ll need to make sure you take advantage of this convenient service because all NSW Councils are no longer able to provide you with a hard-copy Development Application Form, so the NSW Planning Portal is now your one stop shop for submitting an application.

However, for those of you in our community who are unable to access a computer or reliable internet services, we have also set up a Development Application Kiosk at the Bellingen Shire Council’s Administration Building to help you submit your application.
