Road Closure Notification
Due to urgent flood repair works, upcoming road closure on Kalang Road will be required. These necessary closures are required to undertake critical embankment stabilisation works.
Dates and durations may vary depending on weather impacts amongst other factors.
Council advise motorists there will be upcoming road closure on Kalang Road:
Where?
- Site 2, located 12.3km from the start of Kalang Road (right past Baileys bridge)
When:
- Wed 12th June & Thu 13th June 2024, road closure from 9am to 3pm (no road opening at lunch time) due to the extent of earthworks required prior to reopening the road overnight
- 14th June to 17th July 2024, road closure from 9am to 12pm and from 12.30 to 3pm
Stay tuned, Council will provide regular updates via the VMS boards located on Kalang Road, Council’s website, and Council’s social media channels, so motorists can plan their travel accordingly.
