Bellingen Shire Council is seeking comprehensive community feedback on local issues, facilities and services to help determine how the organisation is faring and where it can improve.

Council has commissioned CATALYSE to conduct the independent MARKYT Community Scorecard process from 17 June to 12 July 2024.

The Community Scorecard will be used to help review the Bellingen Shire Community Vision 2035, ensuring that the document is still reflective of our community’s priorities and aspirations.

The Scorecard is available online through Council's website and will be emailed to Council databases. Hard copies of the Scorecard have been mailed to all households and residential PO Boxes in the Shire and can also be collected from the Customer Service Centre at Bellingen Shire Council's Administration Building.

The Scorecard is open to everyone aged 14 years and older, with everyone eligible encouraged to provide feedback.

Bellingen Shire Council Mayor Cr. Steve Allan encouraged community members to have a say on the Shire’s future.

“The Community Scorecard is an opportunity for community members to have their say and help Council understand our residents’ top priorities,” he said.

“It gives Council an honest update on how we are tracking and will be used to guide us on where we can improve and where we need to focus our efforts.

“We want to ensure that our Community Vision 2035 continues to align with the community’s future visions and aspirations, and the results from this scorecard will help inform this review.

“I encourage everyone to fill out the Scorecard and provide us with your honest feedback and thoughts.”
