Waterfall Way re-opens with restricted access to Summervilles Road

Bellingen Shire Council continues to focus its operational resources towards managing the existing closure on Waterfall Way and is working with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to progress recovery works, subject to weather conditions.

Access on Waterfall Way has been reinstated under traffic control with restricted access to Summervilles Road.

Access is Limited to light vehicles, emergency services and utility providers undertaking essential travel only. The road width and alignment are not suitable for articulated vehicles or vehicles towing caravans.

Our community is strongly encouraged to only travel when it is essential to minimise impacts on our compromised roads to ensure that access is maintained for emergency services.  Please ensure you check the weather forecast and Council's Disaster Dashboard to be informed about road conditions before you travel.
