Council is excited to announce that it has successfully secured a renewable electricity supply agreement with Iberdrola Australia, extending through to the end of 2030. This is part of a collaborative buyer’s group facilitating a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 13 regional councils in New South Wales.

Community EV chargers are on their way

Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are set to be installed at William St, Bellingen, and Morgo St, Urunga. The 22 kW chargers will be powered by 100% renewable energy and will provide community members, visitors and workers with an easy and convenient way to charge their vehicles.
