Restricted access at Dangar Falls: Important Safety Notice

Please be advised that Dangar Falls will have restricted access and closures during a three-week period from Monday, 28 October to Monday, 18 November to accommodate a special filming event.
These activities will bring economic benefits to the area, however for the safety of visitors and crews, certain restrictions and full closures will be in effect throughout the filming period.

Shredded Log Mulch has run out!

Council has now RUN OUT of the free mulch from the large logs and tree stumps that was produced at the Raleigh Waste Facility. Thanks to all those who grabed a load or two, may your garden beds flourish.

Council Adopts Coastal Management Program for Certification

Council has reached a significant milestone in its commitment to coastal preservation with the adoption of the Bellingen Shire Coastal Management Program (CMP) at the August Ordinary Meeting of Council. This critical document will now be sent for certification by the Honourable Penny Sharpe MLC, Minister for Climate Change, Energy, Environment, and Heritage.
