Background
An offer to enter into a Planning Agreement was submitted on 11 May 2021, associated with Development Application No. 2017/DA-00192 (as determined on 19 May 2021), which comprises the subdivision of 1 lot into 16 lots Lot 3 DP 513358 and known as 4056 Giinagay Way, Urunga NSW 2455.
The Developer offered to enter into a Planning Agreement with Council pursuant to section 7.4 of the Act to provide a monetary contribution towards the provision of water and sewer infrastructure required for the development.
The relevant infrastructure and the means of delivery have been jointly investigated and the offer to enter into the Planning Agreement is in line with those investigations.
To summarise, the infrastructure works consist of the construction of a non-potable water main, a sewer pump station, sewerage network, upgrade of existing water mains, a new water reservoir and additional rising main works.
The total cost to Council is $39,000.00, comprising the non-potable water infrastructure. The offer/agreement has been made and considered in accordance with Council's Draft VPA Policy.
At its June Ordinary Meeting, Council resolved to place the Draft VPA on public exhibition.

The Draft VPA will be on exhibition from Monday, 16 August 2021 to 13 September.
