Public exhibition - Planning Proposal 24 - Housekeeping Amendment

Public Exhibition Notification

The public exhibition period for Planning Proposal 24 - Housekeeping Amendment will formally commence from Thursday, 4 July 2024, until midnight Wednesday, 31 July 2024.

The intended outcomes of the proposed LEP amendment are to;

1. Update the Heritage Map to reflect altered property boundaries in North Bellingen.
2. Introduce a new Clause in the LEP requiring consideration to be given to the provision of certain essential services.
3. Make subdivisions associated with Council road closures a form of exempt development

All documents with details of the amendment are attached and will be available at the Bellingen Administrative Centre and the Bellingen Library for the duration of the exhibition period, from Thursday, 4 July 2024 to midnight Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
